12 Week Newborn Care  Package $21.000
Postpartum Care  $ 27 -$30 Per Hour
The new mother may feel anxious and overwhelmed in the early weeks after labor. The skills you’ve learned in parenting classes, such as bathing and feeding, you probably have forgotten. Caring for a new life is a tremendous responsibility and can cause stress and lots of sleepless nights. When you were giving birth there was a team of people around you. If you gave birth in the hospital many nurses would come at your call to assist you.  A Postpartum Doula could help fill that void when you get home with:
Reducing your chances of maternal postpartum depression and/or a shorter duration for the mother to cope with Postpartum, if and when it does happen.
Reducing maternal exhaustion, frustration with breastfeeding, and apprehension during early weeks.
So Dad could get back to work sooner with less anxiety.
A greater understanding of a newborn’s emotional, physical, and behavioral needs.
Easier bonding due to more confidence.
